![]() ![]() For all three methods I manage to get the stiches onto the needles and hang the comb on but after that I can't come right. I tried three different cast on methods - the weaving method in the manual, the cast on you demonstrate in video 3 and the e wrap method. I decided to give the chunky machine a go and see if I could get that one working. I have been so daunted to use them but luckily I came across your videos on YouTube and they have helped such a lot. #Designaknit change language modI recently inherited three knitting machines from my Grandmother and Aunt - a Passap Duomatic 80, an Empisal Mod 260 and an Empisal Chunky. It is a blessing that I have discovered your videos, for I was almost at a point of "throwing in the towel" on ever becoming accomplished in machine knitting. But the truth is that doing sweaters overwhelms me, and I have not been able to complete not one. When it arrived it was rather dirty, so I set it on the back porch for over 1 yr., but last year I got it out, removed the crumbling sponge bar, cleaned it, oiled it, took out each needle and soaked them to get the grunge off of them, and it has done a good job. ![]() I purchased it from the UK for less than $50 USD. Now I am at a point where I want to get a return on the investment I have made. I have made mostly shawls and scarves with either the Brother KX260E, or the Brother Convertible KX-390 Hobby Knitter.The Studio 560 has not seen any action yet. After sometime I purchased a Studio 560 Electronic a Brother KX-260E and a hobby knitter-the Brother Convertible KX-390 Home Knitter. ![]() After the Bond experience I almost gave up the attempt. My first purchase was thru Ebay with a Bond machine. I also want to take this opportunity to say thank you for your excellent videos.
